The peseta was the official currency of during the 20th century. The vines producing this wine were actually planted at the middle of the 20th century. The vineyards are located on the northern side of the “Sierra Salinas”, an area characterised by rocky and deep orange soils, where rainfall is scarce. The grapes are small and produce a concentrated wine. After the maceration and fermentation process in stainless steel containers, the wine spends 10 months in new barrels made of French and American oak.
