Superb colour, still black-purple, really fine expression of fruit and a much smoother style than usual from this wine, superb depth and presence on the palate, a really fine wine. At upper end of 4 stars. Highly recommended.
Falstaff N° 3/2003 : 87-89Dunkles Rubingranat, violetter Rand, in der Nase feines Cassis, nach Heidelbeeren, Nougat, am Gaumen raue Tannine, etwas eckig, viel Cabernet-Charakter, etwas austrocknend, wenig Charme, dafür viel Gerbstoff, wird sich zum Speisenbegleiter entwickeln.
