Dark black red with a ruby red edge. One reflects raspberry and very mature orange-red smells on the nose. We can find ripe middle sea fruits on the palate with an elegant long end. This wine can be drunk alone or to firm cheese as well as stewed beef.
The peseta was the official currency of Spain during the 20th century. The vines which produced this wine were actually planted to the middle of the 20th century. The vineyards are on the northern side of the "Sierra Salinas", an area characterized by the rocky and deep orange grounds where rain is scarce. The grapes are small and produce a concentrated wine. After the fermentation is finished in stainless containers, the wine spends 10 months in new barrels made of French and American oak.
