Chateau Figeac 2002 Saint Emilion Premier Cru Classe Alkohol: 13% vol. Parker : 88/100 Decanter : 3/5 Quarin : 15,75/20 RVF : 8,5/10 The aristocratically, kind Thierry Manoncourt prepares the Figeac in a very popular style. The wine of neighbour legendarily dear to his, Cheval Blanc, is in style and much closer to Qalität than the price difference would suggest in leading years. The early supple and enchanting Figeac is of ruby red colour and very much usually fruitily, with one unmistakable smell of menthol, herbs, cedar wood and black fruits. It presents itself already well in the youth and ripens quickly although Cabernet Sauvignon contains the highest share in the tannin rich woman, adstringierenden grape types him under the important St-Emilions.
